First of all I would like to thank Wendy and George Rome for arranging this run. With the threat of storm Ashley over the weekend especially Sunday, fortunately we were graced with sunshine and blue skies for the last run of the year.
…We met at the Radstone Hotel Shawsburn 8 cars 14 people. This beautiful Hotel offered a very nice breakfast before we all set off. The route was well layed out just a little misdemeanor with my navigator at the start. But it all went well once back on the route through the lovely smooth curvy roads in Ayrshire taking in 60 miles including Moscow, far travelled what !
…Arriving at Rowallan Castle Estate Kilmaurs, through the High arched entrance and up to the Glasshouse Restaurant at the golf club where we were served a lovely afternoon tea. This really rounded off a great day for the car club.
…In attendance was the newly appointed Chairman of the MG Car Club, Lorraine Noble-Thompson. First woman to hold this title and a very worthy Chairman… Well done Chairman
