There are two starting options for this visit, as follows:

Option 1:
…We will foregather and start from the Cairn Lodge Services, Douglas, ML11 0RJ, where you can avail yourself of tea/coffee and a breakfast roll if you wish, before leaving by 10.30am at the latest.  We will be following a route using both A and B roads that will take us to the National Museum of Flight via Biggar, Peebles, Innerleithen and the Moorfoot Hills.  A dedicated parking area, and a photo opportunity, has been arranged in front of their BAC 1-11 Aircraft.

Option 2:
…Leave from your home address, allowing sufficient time to travel at your leisure to the National Museum of Flight to arrive no later than 1pm, parking in the dedicated parking area.

…When registering for the event please indicate your starting option.

…The Aviator Café offers a full sit-in menu with a selection of hot and cold food, or a takeaway option.

…A group rate has been negotiated for entry to the museum for 10+ persons: adults £13.95, over 65s £11.25, payable on the day.  The entry fee to the museum, refreshments and meals must be paid at the venues.

After our visit we will make our own ways home.
