. .Fraser Ewart has two MGB GTs available, one black bumper the other chrome.
Both are pretty well complete but both need a lot of work.

The cars are available for basically the value of the engines!
November Notes
. . November! Usually, a dreich month! But one bright spot in the month is the final lunch of the year, on the 19th at the Garfield Hotel in Stepps. It is a good hotel; it will be a good lunch, so it is a good way to wind down the season. Details are on the website, please book SOON!
. .And that is it for 2023. A programme for 2024 is being prepared now by your committee and at the moment I can tell you that in January there will be a Chilly Willy lunch
and also the annual Film Night at Kirkintilloch Golf Club.
. .As I have said before, if you know of events or shows that you think might be of interest to MGCC people then let the committee know and they might slot it into the calendar. Similarly, if you can help run or organise events then also get in touch.
. .The nature of events seems to be changing with less formality and more immediacy. No doubt the 2024 calendar will reflect that!
. .Looking back, the MG100 event at Doune went well but as you know the anniversary celebrations will continue into 2024, mainly because no one can quite agree whether 1923 or 1924 was the founding year, but these things happen! Look out for more events next year.
. .Show wise we took the Best Stand Award at Thirlestane, again, and had a good stand at Glamis, all well done considering the difficulties this year in transporting equipment and supplying manpower to assist. Hopefully things will improve in 2024.
. .The Committee has managed to obtain some extra help, but there might still be room for you if that interests you, think about it and contact Willy or Nancy if you would like more details, thanks.
Please let Nancy Crichton or Willy Scott know.
