August One Day Run

Date: Sun 24 August  2025
Time: 10.00 am to 4.00 pm (approx)
Start Venues : Caulders Garden Centre Erskine, Erskine Bridge, Bishopton PA7 5PU
Finish Venue: Loch Lomond Shores, Ben Lomond Way, Balloch G83 8QL.

We will leave from Caulders Garden Centre  at Erskine head for Lochgoilhead returning to Loch Lomond shores to Finish.

After meeting at Caulders Garden centre for a coffee and a bacon roll if so desired. We will cross the Erskine bridge heading towards Loch Lomond. Then after running along the Loch we will head inland over the top to wards Loch Long. Passing through Arrochar and up and over the Rest And Be Thankful. Before looping round to Lochgoilhead where we will be stopping for lunch. There is the Goil Inn and also plenty of areas for a picnic if you so wish taking in the beautiful view down the loch.

After lunch we will head back and once again pass over the Rest

And Be Thankful heading back down to Loch Lomond Shores for a little refreshment and if you so wish some retail therapy!! Like all the runs we do it is your day so please make sure you stop and take in the sights and when you get to Loch Goil feel free to have a paddle!!
