…Based at the Peebles Hydro Hotel, in the heart of the Scottish Borders, the event will follow the same “no-frills” format as the very successful May 2024 tour to Glencoe and the Highlands. Entries will be taken on a first-come-first-served basis, up to a maximum of 30 cars.
…There will be two start points on Tuesday 6 May, one (optional) from the north, and one from the south. The (optional) north start will leave from Dobbies Dunfermline (KY11 8EX), then take a route using A and B roads over the Kincardine Bridge to Peebles, approximately 75 miles. The south start will leave from Dobbies Carlisle (CA5 6LB), then take a route over Liddesdale, bordering Ettrick Forest to Peebles, approximately 82 miles.
…There will be full day tours on both Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 May, set in and around the stunning countryside of the Lammermuir, Moorfoot and Tweedsmuir Hills and surrounding areas. There will also be the option to visit places of interest.

…The cost of the hotel accommodation is as follows:
• £624.00 double occupancy of a double/twin room for three nights dinner, bed and breakfast.
• £462.00 single occupancy of a double/twin room for three nights dinner, bed and breakfast.
These rates include the use of the Hotel’s pool and spa facilities.

…The entry fee for the event is £30, to cover the cost of the Route Book, MSUK Permit and incidentals, and is required when registering your place.  To register, please click on the Register Now button above; once we have received your booking and entry fee, it will be acknowledged by email.  This will be followed on 20 January 2025 (15 weeks prior to the event) by a second email giving the specific link and booking code for your accommodation, at which point you should contact the Peebles Hydro Hotel and pay for your accommodation in full.  Payment for your accommodation is required by the Hotel by 1 February 2025.
