The Run in the Morning is about 76 miles. 1hr 45mins.
And in the Afternoon it is 72 miles.
From the start point, the route to Glencoe is very direct and delivers excellent roads and landscape scenery all the way there. You can’t beat Glencoe, in any weather for beautiful vistas and atmosphere.
As the route is so direct, there is no need for a route book as we will be turning right out of Dobbies onto to A84 and straight past Lochearnhead onto the A85, through Crianlarich onto the A82 to Glencoe. It’s virtually the same road all the way to Glencoe.
Lunch will in the Clachaig Inn >> (The Boots Bar)
The Clachaig Inn is located on a small single-track road off the A82. Turn right onto this road off the A82. Oddly there is no road number for this single-track road however the organiser will be at this junction to wave you onto this road.
Look out for the MGTF and Hi-Viz jacket at the junction. The Clachaig Inn is 0.5 miles along this road on your left.
The morning route is only 1hr 45mins, however if you stop a couple of time times at the scenic points for pictures etc you should reach the lunch location around 12.15pm.
After lunch, take the left out of the car park to Glencoe village. At the T junction, turn left, then left onto the A82 heading homeward or to the Blair Drummond Smiddy Farm Shop for teas and coffees.
